It's a rare condition but there are some cases here and there (even another one where my parents live right now, and he wasn't so lucky as after recovering from his blindness his legs became paralysed because of the trauma). I was blind for a week or two when I was 4, I don't know the name of the virus (I don't even know if it was actually a virus) but it left some permanent damage as you can see in the above link. It would be a pain in the ass to change desktop res everytime I open Quakelive.īecause myopia and astigmatism are basically the least of my worries (yeah I have both but that's not really uncommon though). What does it exactly do? does it inject into any dll or something (driver dlls?) so the custom res would show up?Īnd if I have to have 1680x1050 in the desktop for Quakelive to load the custom res correctly, I might aswell stay with 1280x960. Lots of apps wouldn't allow changing font size. Yes you can ctrl+ in the browser, but the rest of the stuff remains tiny. I don't use this resolution for desktop, i use 1440x900 because I find the native res makes the fonts way too small that it's a pain in the ass to read and makes my head hurt. I tried anyway again with Quake and same happens (I selected desktop res before launching Quake).

The resolution wouldn't still show up in the drivers, or default Windows res list. I have edited it and also added the Native res 120hz like this:
